Madurai - City of Temples

Madurai is a major temple town found in the southern part of India. It is home to the Meenakshi temple that has many carved and painted halls. The Meenakshi temple which hosts the goddess Meenakshi and lord Sundaram (Shiva) remains the tallest Gopuram (temple gateway) in the entire world.

Day 01: Arrival Madurai
Day one marks your arrival in Madurai where you will later be picked up from Madurai railway station or airport depending on your means of travel. You will later transfer to your Hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 02: Madurai- Sightseeing
The second day of you visit of Madurai in the morning you will want to visit the Meenakshi Temple, the Teppakkulam Tank and the ancient Tirumala Nayak Palace. Later in the evening you will go back to you hotel for your overnight stay in Madurai.

Day 03: Madurai Departure
The third day marks you departure from Madurai in which you will transfer to Madurai railway station of airport for your onward Indian journey.
