Bandhavgarh - Tiger′s Delight

A visit to the Bandhavgarh will leave you amazed with the many Tiger population there. Here in Madhya Pradesh there is often a high population of Tigers as compared to other Indian national parks. The other animals that you will also get to see are the Leopard, wild boar, sloth bear and also a variety of bird’s species. The park’s terrain is rocky, rising sharply from the swampy and densely, forested valley.
Day 01: Arrival Jabalpur-Bandhavgarh
On arrival at Jabalpur airport/railway station depending your mode of travel you will people meet who will assist you to transfer to Bandhavgarh. If you wish you can visit a museum called the Baghel and even proceed on a village walk if you wish. You may then go back to your hotel for your overnight stay there.
Day 02: Bandhavgarh
On your second day of your visit here you can depart for a jungle safari in an open jeep with a naturalist. You may later return for breakfast to the resort. Later visit the Bandhavgarh Fort which is the oldest fort in the country, considered to be around 2500 years old. After Lunch proceed for an evening safari then come back and rest on the resort while spending your night there.
Day 03: Bandhavgarh –Jabalpur Dep.
On the third day of your visit here if you have some time to spare before leaving you could go again for a safari or just visit the village to see people there. When it will be time for you to leave you will go to Khajuraho airport or the Jabalpur railway station depending on your preferred means of transport.
